A strasszos csizma egyértelműen a következő szezon wishlistes terméke lesz. Maria Grazia Chiuri első Christian Dior show-ja stílusát tekintve a munkásosztály szintjén zajlott, ám a tőle korábban látott misztikumból azért csepegtetett bele egy-két cseppet.

The two creators of Kenzo, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim presented an excitingly tailored, tied and layered collection in the name of sports. Anthony Vaccarello really knows how to create Saint Laurent icons. Let’s just say that with black, leather, lace and metal pieces you cannot go wrong – at least in my mind. The rhinestone boots are hands down the next season’s wishlist pieces. Vera Wang can’t be true to herself, her ready-to-wear clothes had obvious haute couture aspects. This time next to the exciting lines, feathers and gold worked for her. My personal favourite, Lanvin and their relatively new designer Bouchra Jarrar navigated between strong and weak women on an equal scale. My other favorite, Balmain brought their A-game. With the leadership of Olivier Rousteing, they presented a fire, water, air and earth inspired collection. Chloé designer, Clare Waight Keller’s child-like-beauty models looked like they snuck in their mothers’ closets and put on some grown-up pieces. Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first Christian Dior show was on the working class level, at least from a style point of view, although there were snippets from the previously known mystic as well. Demma Gvasalia at Balenciaga made light of the presentation that showed in the tailoring and she was so megalomaniac in the bags. Phoebe Philo dressed Celine up in a masculine vibe and gave the models thick, mushy blankets. Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Valentino show started modest, but then colours and patterns bursted on the scene. The red-cyclamen combination took care of the excitement, while the numbered sleeves gave the humour. Sarah Burton redefined Alexander McQueen’s gothic concept and with the help of colors, gave it life. I specifically liked it. Ruffled dresses, strawberry patterns, lace boots with a pair of Nike leggings – Giambattista Valli’s well-founded position is constant in the fashion world. After Riccardo Tisci’s catapult, some of the designers at the house of Givenchy threw together a red collection made up of some previous, memorable pieces which were presented to us only in pictures. At Hermés, Nadége Vanhee Cybulski focused also on layers and graceful hands. Stella McCartney represented London in Paris. She guarded her models from the wind and rain with oversize creations and bedazzled them with squares and horses. Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld are one of the most powerful couple in the world. They flew us to space and even though the mood was flat, it was flawless as always. Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquiére are just as good combination as his ensembles. He relaxed the hard and hardened the relaxed, like it needs to be done.
