A Christian Dior új ,,üdvöskéje”, Maria Grazia Chiuri kitűnően vizsgázott. A misztikus-romantikus kollekció főszereplői a különleges szemmaszkok és fejdíszek voltak, amik szó szerint megkoronázták a meseszép darabokat. Bár az Atelier Versace csak képeket mutatott be, aprólékosan horgolt, azsúrozott és pliszírozott mesterművei felértek egy komplett divatbemutatóval. Giambattista Valli az ártatlanság korát idézte meg fodros, virágos, tollas és tüllős kreációkkal. Egy kis kosztüm, egy kis flitter, egy kis fekete – hihetetlen, hogy Karl Lagerfeld mit képes kihozni ugyanazokból a Chanel összetevőkből, úgy, hogy mindig modernnek hassanak. Ebben most az övek és a gyöngy bokaláncok voltak segítségére. Az Armani Privé keleties hangulatú kollekciója bebizonyította, hogy a narancssárga is lehet gyönyörű és kifinomult. John Galliano a Maison Margielánál bonyolult szabászati remekeket alkotott. A Givenchy és Riccardo Tisci a kockás mintára, a fekete színre és a rojtos díszítésre helyezte a hangsúlyt. A Viktor & Rolf páros fantasztikus technikai megoldásai különböző anyag-, szín- és mintafoltokból összeállított patchwork ruhákat eredményeztek. A Valentinónál Pierpaolo Piccioli meglehetősen visszafogottan startolt, és félénk fehér ,,lobogókat” lengetett. Jean Paul Gaultier vidéki élet ihlette show-ján szokás szerint a változatosság gyönyörködtetett és érdemes volt elveszni a részletekben. Volt itt búzavirágos koktélruha, ékszerek, sőt még napszemüveg is.

The stars of the mystic –romantic collection were the special eyemasks and headdresses, that literally crowned the fairy tale style pieces. Though the Atelier Versace showed just pics, their detailed crochet, pierced and pleated masterpieces was worth a complete fashion show. Giambattista Valli evoked the age of innocence with the frilly, floral, feathery and tulle creations. A little tweed suit, a little shining sequin, a little black dress – it’s unbelievable, what Karl Lagerfeld can make from the same Chanel components to look always so modern. Now the belts and the pearly anklets helped him in this. The oriental mood collection of Armani Prive proved that the orange can also be beautiful and sophisticated. John Galliano at the Maison Margiela created complicated sartorial works of art. The Givenchy and Riccardo Tisci focused on the checked pattern, black colour and fringed decoration. The Viktor & Rolf duo’s fantastic technical solutions resulted patchwork dresses from different textile, colour and pattern spots. Pierpaolo Piccioli at the Valentino started modestly enough, and he waved shy white ,,flags”. On Jean Paul Gaultier’s country life inspired show we enjoyed the variety again, and it deserved to get lost in details. There were cornflower decorated cocktail dress, jewels and even sunglasses too.
